2022 Conference on Abuse
In the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, “ injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” With everything that is going on in this world, our advocates and survivors are the ones who are standing up and speaking out. They are the voices for the voiceless; however, as many of you know, standing up for what is right and just is not always easy. Speaking up and out about one’s abuse often leaves that person open for criticism and blame. We live in a society that is quick to blame the victim and protect the perpetrator; however, we are beginning to see a shift as victims and survivors realize they are not alone. Hope Pyx Global wants to shine a light on these true heroes. We will be hosting this event in Houston, Texas.
The 2022 Conference on Abuse (Oct 20-21, 2022) is designed to raise awareness for prevention, to facilitate training and information and CEU credits on human trafficking, sexual assault, and domestic violence, to provide resources and networking opportunities for survivors, advocates, legal professionals, victim service providers, law enforcement, community members and organizations to end gender-based violence together. Speakers will share their stories about how they overcame or helped others overcome their adversities. Also, tune in as they share how they combat social injustice.
Come learn from experts and industry leaders at the conference, celebrate with our heroes at the award gala, submit your favorite survivor story, or choose to help sponsor the event today. In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the change you want to see in the world.”

2023 Annual International Book Awards
As William Faulkner once said, “Never be afraid to raise your voice for honesty and truth and compassion against injustice and lying and greed. If people all over the world...would do this, it would change the earth.” The first and only of its kind to celebrate survivors of human trafficking, sexual assault, domestic abuse, child abuse, military sexual trauma, and all crime survivors, the mission of the second annual International Book Awards in 2023 is to recognize overcomers of all crimes and wartime trauma and those who are voices for the voiceless through books, spoken word, visual arts, music, or film. We also welcome nominations from all professionals who work with survivors and their families, including advocates, medical professionals, social workers, therapists, counselors, prosecutors, attorneys, judges, law enforcement officers, and forensic interviewers. Join us as we elevate survivor voices, share their stories to influence positive changes, and heal together through engagement for a world free of from violence, exploitation, and slavery.
